This nice-looking rail cap measures 1-3/4" wide by 11/16" thick. The profile is an unsophisticated rectangular block of wood with 5/32" radius's on all four edges. It also contains a 1" wide by 3/16" deep dado on the bottom side. This is used for installation purposes, such as a metal bracket or wooden baluster.
