Shiplap patterns are functional mouldings typically used for siding; they are simply defined by milled wooden boards that overlap the one below the previous board when installed. Shiplap come in a wide variety of applications including beveled, resawn, teardrop, clapboard, channel, vee groove, and are even utilized as tambour in roll top desk. We currently have over two hundred different patterns for your consideration including all the above-mentioned styles, if you would like to see other options in siding profiles, please check out our tongue and groove category.
If by chance you don't find a profile that best fits your current needs, just send us a sketch, we would be happy to design a custom profile on cad, cut an acrylic template on our cnc machinery, and grind a set of blades on our Weinig R 960 knife grinder. Don't forget, we have an easy to use cost calculator located directly under every pattern in our catalog, offering immediate, accurate price quotes.
