Fence Cap 5-1/2" - 9

This useful 5-1/2" - 9 fence cap measures 5.500" wide by 1.125" thickness, allowing the pattern to be machined out of five or six-quarter lumber. The functional profile composes a barely noticeable 1/8" radius on the top center, tangent to two bidirectional two-and-one half-degree angled lines with 1/8" rolled edges that transitions the thickness to one inch on the sides. The bottom of the pattern can cap a four-inch piece of lumber, it consists of a 4" wide by 1/4" deep dado with a 1/4" wide concave semicircle to act as a drip edge for moisture when installed, flanked by 1/4" wide lines segment and a 1/8" rounded edge on each side of the design. You may want to review and consider another smaller style of fence cap with a rounded top for capping a 3-7/16" wide piece of lumber, fence cap 4.687".
