This Backout/Relief Cut Moulding Knife Design 4-7/8" measures 4.875" wide, with a .062" depth of cut on the bottom horizontal cutters.
This offset detail can be used on many of our base moulding patterns. The asymmetrical layout is comprised of a 3" wide by 1/16" deep plow flanked by forty-five degree bevels that transition into a 5/8" wide fillet on the inside edge of the pattern, and a 1-1/4" wide straight fillet on the opposite side. The maximum width this knife can mill is 5-5/8" wide when the bottom moulder spindle positioned at .000" axially.
