Backout/Relief Cut 7" - 3
This 7" - 3 double backout measures 7.000" in width. The offset profile comprises a 1-1/2" wide and a 1-3/4" wide by 1/16" deep plow, flanked by a 7/8" wide fillet in the center and a 3/4" wide fillet on the inside edge, with a 2-1/8" wide fillet on the outside edge of the pattern. The maximum width these cutters can mill is 7-3/4" wide, with the bottom cutterhead positioned at .000" axially. Caution; when milling smaller widths of lumber, ensure the guide fence is elevated by at least .093" so the unused portion of the profile does not cut into the guide fence. Otherwise, sparks will fly, and you will have to regrind the shape.
