Bar Rail 5-7/8"

This bar rail has two sets of measurements. The milling dimension is 5-29/32" wide by 1-3/4" thickness, it will require eight-quarter lumber to mill this pattern properly, and the installed dimension is roughly 5-7/8" wide by 2-13/16" tall. The profile design comprises a series of tangent radii rolling down like a wave. This provides a smooth and comfortable area to rest your arms while enjoying your favorite cocktail. The backside is rabbeted by the sizes listed on the image; it is rabbeted for the sub-top and the countertop. It utilizes four profiling stations with significant cuts on each spindle, and knife cost will escalate production cost. The downloadable dxf file includes all four profile cuts to produce this pattern successfully. The bar rail is designed on the same plane, so holding down the wood while milling and blending the profiles will be a breeze for any machine operator.
