Would you like to reduce the amount of time it takes to set up the moulder for a milling production run? Perhaps calibrating the moulder spindles axially and radially will substantially decrease setup time while simultaneously increasing production.
Caution; the cutters will come within .020" of the moulder bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic or plastic sacrificial bed plate be used for these types of milling operations. For knife quoting purposes click to open the calculator below, we have added only the important measurements, just enter the appropriate dimension in the boxes provided. A brief detailed explanation on how to use the calculator is located here. Need some assistance with the dimensions? Print a copy of our fraction - decimal - millimeter chart, place it on the molder to help operators save time and increase accuracy during machine setup.
Width = 1.062" / Depth of Cut = .625" (top knives.)
