This attractive base cap 2-1/4" - 6 measures 2.250" wide by 1.000" thickness, enabling the pattern to be machined out of five-quarter lumber. The lovely profile is composed of a 1/8" broad horizontal line segment at a 13/16" thickness dimension on the top left, this forms a quirk when applied to a piece of surfaced four sides lumber (S4S), connected to a 19/32" wide half-circle. A 7/64" wide fillet that transitions into a 21/32" wide scotia in the center, attached to a 3/8" wide half-round bead bordered by two small fillets joined to a 1/4" cove with a 3/64" eased edge leaving a 5/16" thickness measurement on the right side of the design.
