This decorative base cap 2-9/16" measures 2.562" wide by 1.000" thickness, necessitating the use of five-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The delightful profile comprises a 1/4" wide sunk fillet at a 3/4" thickness dimension on the left, attached to a 23/32" convex arc tangent to a 5/8" concave semicircle creating the cyma reversa with a 1/16" vertical step in the center, attached to a small ogee made up from two 1/4" tangent radiuses joined to a 1/4" wide by 3/32" deep perpendicular notch, leaving a 3/16" thickness dimension on the right side of the design.
