This vintage base cap 2-9/16" - 1 measures 2.562" wide by one-inch thickness, requiring the use of five-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The classic profile is composed of a 1/4" wide by 1/4" deeply sunk fillet at a 3/4" thickness dimension on the left, attached to a 9/16" convex arc tangent to a 13/16" concave semicircle creating the graceful cyma reversa in the center, joined to a 13/16" wide half-circle on the right side of the design.
