This beautiful base cap 3" - 1 measures 3.000" wide by .812" thickness, permitting the use of four-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial-grade molder. The custom profile contains a 1/4" wide by 3/16" deep perpendicular notch creating a quirk when applied to a piece of surfaced four sides lumber (S4S). That rabbet merges with a 1/2" flat line and a two tangent radius s-shaped curvature in the center. The wavy line joins a 3/16" horizontal fillet and a 21/64" cove with a 1/16" eased edge, leaving a 5/16" thickness dimension on the right side of the design.
