This colonial base cap 3-3/16" measures 3.187" width by .625" thickness, requiring the use of a 3-7/16" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The astonishing profile comprises a graceful two-tangent radius s-shaped curvature on the top center. The wavy lines connect to a towering half-circle flanked by short fillets with a 1/4" cove on the design's right side. The backside rabbet dimension is 1/4" wide by 1/4" tall.
