This base shoe measures 1-3/4" wide by 5/8" thick. The profile consists of a 1-1/8" fillet with an attached chamfer that is used to transition into a cyma reversa that transforms the thickness to about 3/16" on one side of the detail. Base shoes hide uneven gaps between the flooring and the baseboard; when installed, they should be attached to the base molding, not the floor.
