This beveled 3/4" - 18 base shoe measures .750" width by .562" thickness, permitting the use of a 1-7/8" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial-grade molder. The chamfered edge profile contains a 1/4" broad flat line merged with a 32.631-degree angled line leaving a 1/4" thickness dimension on the design's more minor edge. Utilize fall-off rips of lumber while doubling production in half the amount of time with this unique split two custom base shoe profile.
Caution: the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
