This small 3/4" - 7 base shoe measures .750" in width by .375" in thickness, requiring one-inch wide blanks of four-quarter lumber for machining with industrial machinery. The small profile is an excellent way of utilizing fall-off rips of lumber. It comprises a 1/2" broad fillet with a 1/16" vertical step on the top. It connects to a two-tangent s-shaped curvature called an ogee, leaving a 1/16" thickness dimension on the design's right edge.
