This custom baseboard 4" - 107 measures 4.000" wide by .625" thickness. The profile consists of a 3/4" broad straight line with a 5/32" vertical step, joined to a 2-41/64" flat area with a 3/64" steep grade, attached to a two tangent radius ogee at the top of the pattern. The thicker part of the profile is oriented up against the inside fixed fence of a molder. This will enable you to move the pressure element away from the wall laterally by 13/16", then seat the pressure shoe in the flat area of the workpiece for superior hold down of the lumber on the machine's bed plates during the milling process.
