This colonial 4-1/2" - 12 baseboard comprises a 2-11/32" flat area on the top left. It connects to a 1/4" cove joined to a 1/8" sunk fillet in the center. The short recessed section merges with a graceful s-shaped curvature and a 9/32" bead attached to a small fillet and a 13/64" cavetto with a 3/64" eased edge on the design's right side. The pattern is 4.500" in width .625" in thickness. The recommended rough wood rip size using four-quarter lumber is 4-3/4" wide.
Caution: the knives will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when cutting this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
