This beautiful 5-3/16" - 8 baseboard measures 4.250" in width by .750" thickness, requiring a 5-7/16" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for machining on an industrial moulder. The creative profile composes a 1-11/16" flat line with a 9/32" rolled inner edge on the top left. The quarter round connects to a three-tangent radius scotia in the center with a 9/64" convex quarter arc merged with a 7/64" fillet and a graceful ogee on the design's right edge. Caution: When milling this detail, the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
