This intricate 5-7/8" - 1 base moulding measures 5.875" wide by .625" thickness, permitting the design to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The beautiful profile composes a 1-1/2" broad flat line on the left. It's connected to a 1-23/32" long scotia derived from a 2-3/32" concave semicircle, joined with a 5/16" wide raised fillet and a 19/64" down-sloping angled line in the center. The remainder of the design attaches a thumbnail-shaped bead merged with a 7/32" sunk fillet, connected with a 13/16" wide convex arc with a 9/32" wide by 1/16" deep perpendicular line and a small ogee on the right side of the pattern.
