This pencil bead 6-1/4" - 23 base moulding measures 6.250" in width by .750" in thickness, requiring 6-1/2" wide blanks of four-quarter lumber for machining on a commercial moulder. The unique profile comprises a 1-63/64" broad flat section with a steeply beveled edge on the top left. The sharp angle connects to a graceful two tangent radius s-shaped curvature with a 3/16" beak in the center. It connects to a 1-11/64" broad line segment with a 9/16" wide three-quarter round pencil bead flanked by sunk fillets on the design's right side.
