This tiered 8" - 56 base moulding measures 8.000" width by .625" thickness, permitting the use of four-quarter lumber for milling. The design consists of three stepped platforms; the firsts section on the bottom left is 3" across and drops 3/16" in elevation. The second step is 4" across with an additional 3/16" drop in elevation. The last portion is one-inch in width leaving a 1/4" thickness dimension on the pattern's right side.
