This beautiful 8" - 97 base moulding measures 8.000" width by 1.000" thickness, requiring an 8-1/4" wide blank of five-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial-grade molder. The modern-day profile contains a two-inch broad flat line segment on the top left. The horizontal line connects to a 5-27/64" wide congee derived from a 5/8" radius cove in the center. The cong'e end is attached to a set of two short stepped lines leaving a 9/32" thickness dimension on the design's right side.
