This small bed mould 2-3/16" measures 2.187" wide by .687" thick. Bed moulds are generally supporting moulding used in a crown or cornice build-up. The main reason for the radius arc located upper section of the profile; is that the radius bead leads your eyes to the next element of the build-up while viewing. This pattern comprises two roughly 3/4" radius arcs, one concave and the other convex, connected by a 3/32" vertical line in the middle. When installed, the height becomes 1-7/8" tall with a projection of 1-7/32" wide to the front of the arc. The spring angles get fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, with two points plus the radius bead positioned on the same plane to optimize hold down during the milling of the pattern.
