Bed Mould 5-3/4"
This large 5-3/4" bed mould measures 5.750" wide by 1.250" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of six-quarter lumber. The attractive supporting profile composes a three-tangent radius semicircular arc at the top left. It's attached to a 3/4" vertical line segment with a 1/8" rounded edge in the center, joined to a 1-3/4" cove with a 15/64" broad horizontal line at the bottom of the design. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees, these back bevels keep the inner profile parallel to the wall and ceiling as well as setting the installed height at 4-5/16" tall with a projection of 3-13/16" across the top.
The active combined high-speed steel knives & profile template prices are listed below for quoting purposes. On most of our sprung milled designs, we utilize a full 2.375"/60mm cutter head for the back bevel angles to allow for multiple axial adjustments on a wide range of patterns.
