Brickmould 1-15/16" - 1

This designer 1-15/16" - 1 brickmould measure 1.937" wide by 1.187" thickness, enabling the detail to be milled from six-quarter lumber. The beautiful custom profile is composed of a 9/16" broad horizontal line with 3/32" eased edges on top, connected to a small 1/8" broad segment that joins to a shallow two tangent radius cyma recta and a one-inch flat line with a 3/32" rounded edge on the right side of the pattern. The detail is milled with the taller side up, against the right inside the fixed fence on the molder; this enables the metal hold-down shoe to be moved laterally outward and placed in the broader portion of the profile. This intentional design feature eliminates the need for a custom pressure shoe.
