This mainstream 2-1/2" - 2 brickmould measures 2.500" wide by 1.125" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined out of five-quarter lumber. The typical profile is comprised of a 1/2" wide by 1/16" tall raised fillet on the top left, connected to a 1/2" wide shallow two tangent radius ogee with a 7/64" vertical step, joined to a 1-1/2" broad horizontal line segment leaving a 7/8" thickness dimension on the right side of the design.
