Brick moulding is a style of exterior casing/trim installed around the perimeter of windows and doors. Even though named brickmould, it is generally milled/constructed from wood, vinyl, or composite materials, but never from brick. The name could have derived from being installed around masonry, natural stone, or stucco siding installed on a home.
