This appealing 3" - 57 door/window casing measures 3.000" in width by .750" in thickness, requiring 3-1/4" wide blanks of four-quarter lumber for machining on a commercial moulder. The decorative profile comprised a 63/64" wide flat line with a 1/8" rolled inner edge on the top left. The outer edge is intentionally left square to use many of our backband patterns; here's one we think matches nicely with this design, cap .750" - 12. The left side connects to a downsloping two-tangent radius s-shaped curvature with a 5/64" vertical step in the center. The remaining portion consists of a 15/32" flat line segment with a 1/8" rolled edge, joined to a 1/4" broad half circle on the design's right edge.
