This well-designed 4" - 70 door/window casing measures 4.000" wide by 1.750" thickness. This pattern will require eight-quarter lumber to mill this on a commercial moulder. The profile consists of a 1-1/4" wide half-round bead, a 7/16" wide stepped fillet, a cyma reversa that transitions into an 11/16" wide half round bead, and a 1/4" wide fillet on the thinner side of the design. This profile design could also be utilized as a chair railing or a fireplace surround on a mantel.
