Door/Window Casing 5-1/8" - 2

This unique 5-1/8" - 2 door casing measures 5.125" width by 1.093" thickness, requiring the use of a 5-3/8" wide blank of five-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The creative profile comprises a 1-1/32" wide raised fillet with a 7/32" rolled outer and a 3/32" eased inner edge. It connects to a small ogee with a steep vertical elevation drop attached to a ½" radius arc tangent to a small line in the center. The remaining section contains a graceful two-tangent radius s-shaped curvature with a 1/8" rolled edge on the design's right corner.

Caution: the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these types of milling operations.
