This symmetrical chair rail moulding 2-1/4" - 7 measures 2.250" width by .625" thickness requiring a 2-1/2" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The balanced profile comprises a 2-9/16" radius convex arc tangent to a 1/4" convex semicircle on the top center. The elliptical-shaped arch connects to a 3/16" sunken fillet and a 5/16" wide half-circle on both the right and left edges of the design.
