This beak shaped chair rail moulding 2-9/16" - 6 measures 2.562" wide by 1-9/32" thickness, necessitating the use of six quarter lumber for milling. The well designed enchanting profile is composed of a 1/8" wide fillet and a 9/32" cove with a 3/64" eased edge on the top left, connected to a 19/32" convex arc that transitions into a one-inch cove creating the beak shape in the center, merged with a 3/32" vertical drop in elevation connected to a 25/64" quarter round bead on the right side of the design. This template ready cad generated dxf file (purchase in the link below) contains three skillfully drafted template designs for producing profile cutters for this creative chair rail pattern, one design for milling the entire profile, and the other two for machining the pattern in two sections, this will lessen the cutting circles on the machinery.
