This noble 2-5/8" - 7 chair rail measures 2.625" wide by .750" thickness, permitting the pattern to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The custom profile is composed of a 7/64" broad line segment with a 3/64" eased edge at a 9/32" thickness on the top left, connected to a two tangent radius thumbnail shaped arc joined to a horizontal flat line with a small congee and a 23/32" sunk fillet in the center, attached to a 5/16" wide half round bead and a 9/64" broad line segment with a 3/16" cove that retains a 3/64" eased edge leaving a 7/32" thickness dimension on the right side of the design.
