Chair Rail Moulding 3-1/2" - 58

This symmetrical chair rail molding 3-1/2" - 58 measures 3.500" width by .750" thickness, permitting the use of a 3-3/4" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial molder. The beautiful profile contains a 1-3/4" broad flat line on the top center. Each edge of the fillet connects to a 1/8" wide by 1/8" deep dado/groove merged with a 3/4" radius quarter round convex arc on each side edge of the design.

Caution: the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these types of milling operations.
