This beautiful 3-1/2" - 67 chair rail measures 3.500" wide by 1.187" thickness, requiring six-quarter lumber to properly mill this profile on an industrial-style moulder. The bold detail is composed of a three tangent radius at the thickest portion which is attached to a scotia (concave) flanked by fillets, one angled, the other flat, this area is connected to a thumbnail looking two tangent radius with an eased edge fillet positioned on the thin side of the pattern.
