This grooved 4" - 58 chair rail measures 4.000" wide by .625" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The decorative double dado profile is composed of a 2-1/2" broad line in the center, flanked by a 1/4" wide by 1/8" deep groove on each side that connects to a 1/4" broad segment with a 1/4" forty-five-degree chamfer, leaving a 3/8" thickness dimension on each side edge of the pattern.
