This 4-3/8" - 5 belly band chair rail measures 4.375" wide by .812" thickness, enabling the detail to be milled from four-quarter lumber . The symmetrical profile is composed of a 2-15/32" radius arc in the center, flanked by two, one-quarter inch tangent semicircles creating a small ogee that transitions into a 7/8" broad line segment on both sides of the detail. The edges were intentionally left square to utilize a wide range of our radius edge profiles that can be milled from the left and right cutter heads. Here's just one of many that would complement this pattern: radius .093".
