This inventive 4-11/16" - 4 chair rail measures 4.687" in width by .687" in thickness, requiring 4-15/16" wide blanks of four-quarter lumber for machining with an industrial moulder. The classy profile comprises a 35/64" broad half circle in the center. It connects to an upslope angle line with a 15/64" convex arch and a steep incline to the top surface. The bevel joins a 17/32" flat section with a small vertical drop in elevation connected to a forty-five-degree chamfer merged with a 1/8" flat line on each side of the design.
