This modest chair rail 4-3/4" - 6 measures 4.750" width by .750" thickness, requiring a 5" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The symmetrical profile is utilized in places of worship around the western United States. It composes a 2-1/4" wide by 1/8" tall raised fillet on the top center. The steep steps connect to a 1-1/4" wide, eleven-degree downsloping angle that transitions the thickness to 3/8" on both sides of the pattern. All corners on the face side retain a 3/64" eased edge that will aid in the finishing process.
