This simplistic 4-3/4" - 7 chair rail measures 4.750" width by .750" thickness, requiring a 5" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The symmetrical profile contains a 2-1/4" broad line segment on the top center. The line is flanked by a 1/4" by 1/4" groove joined to a 1" wide fillet with 1/8" rounded corners on both side edges.
