This beautifully bold 5-1/2" - 18 chair rail measures 5.500" wide by 1.531" thickness, necessitating the use of eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial-style molder. The intricate profile is composed of a 3/16" wide beveled edge joined to a 1/4" broad segment on the left, connected to a miniature 3/32" radius scotia that transitions into a 1/8" rounded edge and a flat line. It's attached to a 5/32" wide by 1/4" deep sunk fillet that joins to a graceful three tangent radius down-sloping arc tangent off of a flat line, merged with a 3/32" rounded step and a 3/8" flat line with a 5/8" cove on the right side of the design.
