This basic 1-1/8" - 1 cornice buildup measures 1.125" wide by 1.000" thickness, allowing the pattern to be machined from five-quarter lumber. The attractive profile is composed of a 1/4" wide horizontal line segment on the top left, joined to a 3/8" concave semicircle tangent off of a 1/2" radius arc creating the cyma recta in the center, attached to a 1/8" wide line segment leaving a 1/4" thickness dimension on the right side of the design.
