This standard 3-1/16" cove mould measures 3.062" wide by .750" thick. The symmetrical profile is comprised of a 2-9/16" radius cove in the center, flanked by a 27/64" tall vertical fillet on top, and a 27/64" wide horizontal fillet on the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees, search our bevels category by this degree to find a back bevel cutter appropriate for this cove/crown moulding design, these specific back bevels set the installed height and projection at an identical dimension of at 2-11/64" tall and wide.
Two high points in the detail were intentionally positioned on the same level plane. This specialized design feature will assure excellent hold-down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the moulder pressure shoe is correctly set at the proper level to the machine's bed plates.
