Cove 3-15/32"

This tall concave 3-15/32" cove mould measures 3.471" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the detail to be milled sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of four quarter lumber. The elegant profile is composed of a 3-19/64" radius semicircular cove in the center, attached to a 1/2" tall vertical line on top and a 1/4" broad line at the bottom of the design. The spring angles are fixed @ twenty-eight & one-half & sixty-one & one-half degrees. These dedicated back cuts set the installed height to 3" and the projection to 1-3/4". Two high points in the detail were deliberately positioned on the same plane; our disciplined design features will assure excellent hold-down conditions while milling, as long as the pressure shoe is parallel to the machine bed-plates.
