Cove Moulding 5-13/16"

This crown style cove moulding 5-13/16" measures 5.832" wide by 1.594" thickness, requiring the use of eight quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The terminating elliptical shaped profile is comprised of a series of four tangent radiuses creating the cove in the center, attached to a 3/8" tall vertical line on the top left, and a 3/4" wide horizontal line segment at the bottom right. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these are included in the downloadable dxf file available for purchase below. These precise back bevels keep the inner profile parallel to the wall and ceiling as well as set the installed height at 4-3/8" tall with a projection of 3-7/8" wide.

Two high points in the pattern layout were deliberately positioned on the same plane, our disciplined design features will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling as long as the moulder pressure shoe is parallel to the machine bed-plates.
