This larger 6-1/8" cove mould measures wide by 1-5/16" thickness, you can successfully mill this pattern out of six quarter lumber, the profile is composed of a slightly over 5-1/16" radius cavetto flanked by a 17/32" tall fillet on top and a 9/16" wide fillet on the bottom. The spring angles are fixed at forty and fifty degrees which set the installed height at 4-5/8" tall with a projection of 4" wide. The high points are positioned on the same plane, creating favorable hold-down conditions during milling of the pattern.
