Cove Moulding 5/16" - 1

This tiny cove moulding 5/16" - 1 measure .313" wide by .250" thickness. The profile is comprised of a 13/64" radius cove flanked by a 7/64" wide horizontal line on top and a 3/32" tall vertical line on the side edge of the detail. The cutter design is capable of milling two pieces of cove simultaneously, providing an excellent way to utilize the fall of rips of lumber in the shop. The wood size is ripped to roughly 1-1/8" wide by 3/4" or less in thickness.

For safety purposes, we strongly recommend an anti-kickback device be installed on the machine before attempting this splitting operation. Caution; the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate be used for these types of milling operations.
