Cove 5/8" - 3

This small 5/8" - 3 cove mould measures .625" wide by .625" thickness when installed, the milling dimension is 1.406" wide, and we recommend the rough lumber width to be 1.687" wide. The profile composes a 1/8" broad line at the top, connected to a 1/2" radius cove with a 1/8" tall vertical line at the bottom. This unique split two custom cove knife design utilizes fall-off rips of lumber while doubling production in half the amount of time.

Caution: the cutters will come within .015" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations. We strongly suggest installing an anti-kickback device on the machinery for safety concerns before any milling procedures involving splitting lumber into multiple pieces.
