Crown 2-1/4" - 27

This 2-1/4" - 27 supporting crown mould measures 2.250" wide by .750" thickness. The embellishing profile comprises a 3/32" tall vertical line on top. This will create a sunk fillet when the next element in the crown or cornice buildup is added, connected to a three-tangent radius cyma reversa with a 5/16" broad horizontal line at the bottom of the design.

The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees on one side, the opposite side cuts the remaining top portion, the notch, and the angle, these specific side knives set the installed height at 1-27/32" tall with a projection of 1-9/16" wide. Two high points in the detail were deliberately positioned on the same plane; our specialized design features will assure excellent hold-down conditions while milling, providing the moulder's pressure shoe is parallel to the machine bed plates. Perhaps a felt-lined pressure shoe will eliminate any unsightly burnish mark that may be left on the cyma reversa portion of the pattern from the machine's metal hold-down element.
