This ornate 2-1/2" - 10 crown mould measures 2.500" wide by .750" thickness. The intricate profile comprises an elliptical-shaped arc in the center, connected to a half-round circle and squared fillet at the top. The lower section of the pattern consists of a series of stepped fillets, with a small cove and a 1/4" wide horizontal fillet at the bottom. The spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; search our bevels category by this degree to find two back bevel cutters appropriate for this crown moulding design, these specific cuts set the installed height at 1-29/32" tall with a projection of 1-5/8" wide. Five high points in the design are intentionally positioned on the same level plane; this critical design feature will assure excellent hold-down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the machines pressure shoe is set parallel to the moulder's bed plates.
